Meeting Schedule

General business meetings are held three times a year. At these general business meetings, specialized training seminars are incorporated to include distinctive guest speakers. NHCOPSA training certificates are awarded to members upon completion of the actual training seminar. Work session meetings may be held on an "as needed" basis. At these work session meetings, open forum discussions may take place and any projects or items pending may be worked on.

March 2, 2012 – General Business Meeting - 9:00 a.m.

Mission Statement: The primary mission of the New Hampshire Chiefs of Police Secretaries Association (NHCOPSA) is to foster a closer work environment among the various law enforcement agencies in the State of New Hampshire, to provide a support group to all members and to strive for professionalism through training and self development. The NHCOPSA strives to:

·1 Commit to common goals for the betterment of the membership and the various communities;

·2 Open and promote better communications within the law enforcement; support/clerical community;

·3 Provide common access to information vital to job duties and responsibilities;

·4 Establish a network and support group for personal and professional advancement;

·5 Promote the development of specialized skills through discussion, training and the issuance of a training newsletter; and

·6 Actively participate in fundraising to provide financial assistance in the form of scholarships.
